Update 13.10.2022:
I get loads of emails and messages daily.
Some are from people who need help, others are from people who would like to help and others are from people who are interested in adopting one of our animals.
Alex and Rachel had visited The Souda Shelter Project and had met Patches. I wasn’t there to meet them personally.
They wrote me a lengthy email on how much they adore him, what they could offer him and questioned how they would go about it.
The first thing I always ask of people is to fill out an adoption application so I could get to know if they are the right match.
As I was wrapping up reading their email and ready to reply about filling out the application, an attachment at the bottom of their email caught my eye.
And that was all I needed.
Below is the photo they had taken, the first day they met Patches at the shelter.
It is obvious that this is there dog, no?
This photo surely convinced me of that!
Patches is now safely in England, living the life he was meant to live, with the folks he was certainly meant to have!
